Hello, it’s me…

Well, woohoo!!!! You’ve found my website and my very first blog post, so let me quickly introduce myself.

I’m Chris Bird, the copyeditor, line editor, proofreader and everything in between at Chris Bird Edits. I’m not sold on my business name yet actually (I’d prefer something spicier), but it’s my name and here we are.

I work with both first time and previously published authors, and so far all have been going the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) route to land on Amazon. I definitely see the ease in that choice.

I’m going to use this blog as a way of helping aspriring writers find their way towards completing their manuscripts and getting published. It’s a dream for so many, but one often not pursued because it can be quite overwhelming. Knowing where to look for help, and then finding the perfect person, can make all the difference.
